  • The latest projection I saw puts the 26th pick at about $1,689,000 for year 1 and the 2 year deal at $3.6M. Pretty darn good bet on himself.

Even better for him! So happy for him tonight.

  • Not surprising, the Philly fans aren’t to happy with their draft picks tonight.. (at least the Twitter fans, but everyone on Twitter trolls, so who knows)

This is the city that booed Santa after all... EFFING SANTA!!!!

Agreed. Marshall finally got one of his guys to go in the first.

              Hopefully, the floodgates open now!

              • Philly teams like drafting shox in the 1st round.

                Landry made the correct decision!

                  • I doubt more than a small handful of people know how much this family gave up to get this young man where he is. This is truly a blessing for him and his mom.

Going to this kind of team, in this situation, and the benefits that will come to him and his mom. What a great story.

                      • The City of Brotherly Love liking them some Shockers. Alec Bohm and Keylan Killgore to the Phillies and now Landry to the 76's. Hopefully, the Shocks will provide a high rate of return for the Philly Phanatics.

Think 76'er fans will like Landry's new D'Artagnan look...

                        • Congratulations to Landry -- his bet on himself certainly appears to have paid off.

Also interesting, I thought, that Shamet went almost as high in the first round as Shake Milton did in the second. I realize we saw Shake at his absolute best in Wichita, but I still would not have expected that juxtaposition. Apparently Landry really did kill it at his workouts.

Landry was an elite shooter his whole career. Shake just had an elite shooting night when he came here.
