Do we really want negative publicity during a time we're trying to make WSU attractive to another conference? I would hope a collection of university presidents can see past it, but we have all seen in some form how perception can drive reality, whether or not it's justified or even reasonable.

I think some concern is understandable, perhaps even warranted.

If they are basing a long term (decades long potentially) Multi million (billion) dollar agreement with a school based on 1 single act from 1 person that is not employed by said school, then maybe it's not in our best interest to join such a short sighted conference.

Why is it bad? You need pictures drawn for you? Ok, she is arguably the most public significant other in Wichita, so act in public appropriately. I have no problem with her losing her hair extensions over blown calls in the moment as they happen, but don't lose your sh(i)t 15 minutes after the game apparently spouting to open air. Good grief, have restraint about over drinking and letting it alter your usually classy behavior. Act like you were raised to know better. I like the sh(i)t out of Lynn, but my standards say own this one Lynn and let's move on in the very near future.

The topic made multiple ESPN shows, including Mike & Mike, and Colin Cowherd called her a loony toon, so there's that. I feel sympathy for the Marshall family today, overblown nationally, even if you can argue she went overboard, and has become a small attack on her character.

Colin Cowherd doesn't have a lot of room to talk. I feel stupider every time I watch or listen to one of his shows.

Nick, I checked with our men’s basketball office. No one from the NCAA asked anyone to take the video down. With regards to Mrs. Marshall, she was escorted from her seat to the back-of-house area so that she could attend Coach Marshall’s press conference. Thank you.

The misinformation and hypocrisy of many in this thread is unbelievable. The hypocrisy of all of the media involved is the same. Goody two shoes all of you.

I will take Lynn over any coaches wife in this country. This thread sure brings out the moles and trolls too. I think maybe Fever will come along and drain the swamp. Why don't you change your allegiance to the flagship, where abuse of women, vandalism, osctracizing members of the women's bball team are endorsed. Making Lynn feel bad about any of this makes me sick. Get a life losers.

This is all being fanned by those up North to hide their true crimes.

These non-mainstream, sports-brand-focused media entities, such as KSR and a gaggle of others (now many owned by Scout and Rivals), really feel like they are ran by people who are at most a half a degree separated from an internet troll.

Your Kentucky "media" appears to be heavily biased and slanted and amateurish. They were begging and looking for a UK slight from WSU personnel from every press conference. They then turned those comments around, mentioned them out-of-context and invoked a sense of "disrespect" to Cal and the UK players that really wasn't there. That's about as small-time as you can get. Some "media".

I think your "media" should have spent more time watching the game than taking videos and tweeting out borderline libel garbage during a freaking NCAA Tournament game. That screams lack of professionalism to me.
