Sorry if this was already posted (didn't see it on 1st page). So far everything I'm seeing is based off one Kentucky reporters tweets. Nothing substantial yet, but it's already a national story the AP (and so the local media) are running with. Is there any ounce of truth to it or just more fake news??

It is real... and pretty much standard operating procedure.

She was not "drunk" or the Drunkest person in the arena as reported, that was trash.

Standard operating procedure how? I'm a season ticket holder and I've never seen anything out of her that warranted attacks like this. Granted I'm about 3 sections away so I can't hear anything said, but still. It is of concern when the national/local media hammer her and it spreads like wildfire on social media. She's getting the 3rd degree and I'd like to see the justification for it.

There isn't justification. It's just a convenient story so they don't have to focus on the fact that Big Bad Kentucky nearly lost to little ole Wichita State.

If you want to merge it I don't have any objection, but I fail to see how a dedicated thread to it "looks bad". She's done so much for this team/community that if she is getting attacked unjustly then imo it definitely should have its own thread.

yeah my bad, should have worded that better, doesn't look like I can edit title so mods please edit however you feel appropriate. Or merge it, or delete it, or whatever. I just want to get to the bottom of this crap cause right now it stinks like crappy journalism attacking someone unjustly.

Are we sure that Lynn didn't get escorted out by security for her own safety. Sounds like this reporter was stalking her to make up a story.
