Mcduffie was at best slightly below average, more in line with below average.

Shamat and Morris were great. Austin played well.
This. His off season should be spent working on shutting the eff up and playing ball.

    • My first post on ShockerNet after following the team for a year! Just my luck—had trouble setting up my account. Looking forward to next season already! Are games in The Roundhouse as good as I keep hearing?

They can be depending on the opponent

Welcome, Arkan! Glad we got your account issues fixed. And yes, home games are an absolute blast! I've been a season ticket holder since 2003.

          • Landry is a stud. He needed to be selfish, but he will grow.

Frankamp getting hurt didnt help. We were really close to pulling this off.

Damn. We are primed and ready for next year.

Landry was magnficent. The best player on the court.

Our juco boys simply were overwhelmed by the moment and simply were not ready for such bright lights. No question that more Austin and less Daishon would have been better although it may not have made a difference in the outcome.

Too many unforced turnovers midway in the 2nd half.

              The effort was great.
Pray tell—why don't they play Austin more? I watched him for 4 years at Cedar Ridge, and he is the REAL DEAL! How else is he going to hone his incredible skill set if 3G keeps pulling him out every time he misses a shot?

I mean, I'm not going to disparage any of our players right now, but Reaves wasn't the solution in this game. He was too sped up and too small to make a difference today. He's going to be great, but he's not our first option today.

love Austin, but ne do to be stronger so he isn't a turnover when he drives to the hoop. Love his defensive position too. Just needs good shoulders and time with Kerry and the dinner table

Thanks so much! I've only been creeping this page for a year now! 😂😂😂😂

It'll take some serious planning, since we are 8 hours away; but I am going to make the effort to come, even I have to pinch pennies to do so!

He will get his chance. Marshall doesn't pull for missed shots. Usually has more to do with matchups, defense...Etc.

He will be great sooner rather than later. We are all super excited about him and I know the coaching staff is also.

He will hone it the way everyone else has on this team. Through practice....etc

I think Austin will see a lot more time next year, provided the off-season work on his shoulder goes well. He will be one of the first guys off the bench next year, methinks.

I know—I'm just a bit biased, is all. Just call me a sped-up fan. LOL After surgery, rehab, and some serious weight training, he's going to be phenomenal!

Austin needs to get a lot stronger because physical defense gives him problems. Also, after the second shoulder injury this season he became tentative and didn't shoot well.

That said, Gregg loves Austin. The WSU fans love Austin. We all expect great things from Austin. Just not quite his time yet. But soon.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.
