In excess of $120 million according to this link http://www.hughcalc.org/endow2015.cg...is&state2=NONE

Lusk and their AD - Moats - are both trying to save their asses by scheduling terrible teams and getting a better win/loss record. It's smoke and mirrors.

I would guess that they take some buy games next season to help make up their $750k budget deficit. I can guarantee they will be rooting for WSU to make a run in the tournament so they get some of our $$$

According to some on the Bear board - several of the players are lacking in bbiq. They can't even go thru a pre-game walk thru because Miller has a severe case of CRS. There may be a lack of coaching but you also have to have competent players that can understand what you are trying to teach them

I'm not defending Lusk at all. He does recruit some good athletes. He just does some really strange things and doesn't seem to get along with his best players (Marcus Marshall, Chris Kendrix, Kyle Weems, etc)

I thought they gave us the most competition at STL and will probably win the MVC next year (if WSU is gone). If WSU isn't in the MVC picture next year - they may be dancing again.

What few fans they still have are really po'd over Lusk not being fired. It's going to take some wins over good opponents to bring them back. Their attendance numbers next season could be in the 100's
I saw our "countdown to selection Sunday" clock, and I wondered what MSU's countdown clock to Selection Sunday would look like, but then I realized it would probably exceed bandwidth limitations.

SIU website says they have endowment of 117.8 Million as Dec 31, 2016.

Thanks, clearly it was a typo. It also listed ISUb around $50 million and MSU at ~$75 million, which appears correct.

There are a lot of poor sisters among us. Healthy endowments are not sufficient but are probably necessary to commit to being competitive.

            Agreed.

Loyola at least wins at something in the MVC! Their endowment is over a whooping $500M!

A $16 million endowment would be tornado and swellafelon size endowment.

Loyola is the team that's trending up. They get more with less talent than anyone in the league. I think it will be addition by subtraction when Doyle graduates.

Something has to change. The status quo will be the death of us. WSU has maybe never been in a better position to leap forward outside of the early 80's. Let's not waste this chance.

I agree. They have a transfer wing that becomes eligible this year, a good freshman that is coming off an injury RS, and two borderline top 100 freshman bigs! They could be good with the return of Custer, Ingram, Richardson, and Johnson.

                        I wrote Johnson, meant Jackson.
