I, for one, am very nervous about the game. I wouldn't be if
I was confident we would still be in the dance with a loss, but
more and more I am hearing the so called experts site reasons
why we should not be in rather than why we should be in. In
addition, the Redbirds ARE damned good and deserve to be in
as well. I think this is going to be a REAL battle that goes down
to the wire and will have us all on edge. I will try and be
optimistic and say we win a defensive battle 64 - 61

This is going to be a battle of two very strong defenses. The Birds had an easier go of it yesterday which may give them a slight edge. Having to battle yesterday and come back to surge ahead may have been a teaching moment our Shox needed going into what will be a close game. I agree with others though, get behind early against Ill St and it will be a much tougher task to get back in the game. Both teams recognize the importance of winning today which means "all hands on deck." I like our chances with the way the bench has responded all year. Won't be a high scoring game, certainly not like the outcome in the Roundhouse. We should take this one by 6.
First team to 62 wins.

but remember way back when you were in junior high school and you learned that life isn't fair? that hasn't changed.
it would seriously, seriously behoove the shockers to flip the assist to turnover ratio that they have displayed so far in this tournament.. sometimes careless ballhandling, because, hey, it's a blowout. yipee! they must play a bit, just a bit, better than that.
limit daishon, austin and zach offensive touches.Last edited by another shocker; March 5, 2017, 11:43 AM.

Just imagine how many WSU fans would be here today if our campus were 2 hours away. It will probably still be Koch Arena East.
Time to punch our ticket while we watch ISUr's best season in 20 years end with a deep run in the NIT. They can win all the MVC tournaments they want after we peace out.
20+ point victory, leave no doubt (since I guess a lot of doubt exists with our 41 point victory being only because they didn't have MiKyle)
