WSU Versus Bradley Predictions and Pregame Discussions

I make the following predictions for tonight's game:
- A man in a hoodie will run out onto the court and whack Landry Shamet in the kneecap with a tire iron. After a brief chase, the man will be apprehended and identified as Deonte Hawkins (the first clue was that the hoodie said "Illinois State" on the front). Doug Elgin will immediately launch an investigation, but declare Hawkins may continue playing while the serious, serious investigation is being conducted by the league office, who have access to all of the camera footage from the game, the security footage from the Scottrade Center, and even the assault weapon, which Elgin took from Hawkins' hand personally. All of these pieces of evidence somehow vanish before Sunday.
- Bradley will be within one score of Wichita State some time in the second half. At that point, time will mysteriously start to move backwards, or maybe just the game clock.
- The game will, somehow, start with Shaquille Morris having three fouls and Bradley being in the bonus.
- Ed Hightower will come out of retirement to referee this game.
- Gregg Marshall will accept the North Carolina State job at halftime and depart with most of his coaching staff. Mike Kennedy will be drafted as interim coach.
- With 5:02 left in the game, Bradley will hit a layup that somehow counts for 27 points giving them the lead, at which point Doug Elgin will come running out onto the court yelling, "Ring the damn bell!!!"
- Rashard Kelly will get a turnover for travelling while sitting on the bench.
- Gregg Marshall will get his first technical while still in the tunnel.
- Kellen Marshall will announce he's transferring to KU.
- A hacker with the alias "FMason4Lyfe" will hack the KenPom database and drop WSU to #420.
- Despite all of this, WSU wins 110-65.
Now that I've gotten everybody's fears out there to be faced, let's all have some fun. :)

Bradley playing with house money at this point. Absolutely no pressure on them.
Probably won't be enough to change the outcome but it is a dynamic that can has some effect.
Bradley playing last night has pros and cons. One is the have played a game in the arena and worked out any 1st game tournament jitters. That may help them a bit early. The con is that it will be even tougher than normal for Bradley to deal with the Shockers depth.
The Shocks lead Bradley 40-38 in Peoria with 11 minutes remaining in the game in Peoria then pulled away late. I'm hoping the Shocks will play a complete game tonight and not give Bradley any hope of confidence that they can play with the Shocks.Last edited by 1972Shocker; March 3, 2017, 06:58 PM.
