WSU is currently KenPom #10. I think staying in the top 10 on Selection Sunday would be a wonderful talking point.

Ken projects WSU to win 81-61 today. A mere 10 point win and the Shox KenPom rating would drop. Here's hoping to a massive blowout.

The Valley may be annoyed that we lay it on thick, but the fact of the matter is we have to because of the position they've put us in. What we are trying to accomplish is bigger than just winning the game. We have to keep our metrics as high as possible, and Marshall is doing exactly what he knows he has to do. The team knows it too. The only way we secure our fate with an at-large is to absolutely crush the people on our schedule with no mercy. It's not personal. It's business.

Surprised WSU hung on to #10 all week without playing.

With the exception of the Illinois State game I don't think the Shocks have gone out of their way to win by as much as possible. Just look at how our minutes are distributed throughout our rotation and the number of minutes our bottom 5 players have played. Most of the Shocker MOV has simply occurred organically from playing very good basketball.

It's not being laid on as thick as it could be. WSU has 4 players (including 2 1st Teamers) averaging between 20-26 minutes per game. No one else above 20.

Marshall spent most of February pulling the reigns to keep the average MoV at 20.

Mostly, WSU just has way more talent, all the way down the roster. And I mean all the way down.

I think the -25 is too much (now -21.5 per CBS) and I saw ISUr opened at -13, which I also think is too much.

I'd like to see Zach, Austin and Rauno play meaningful minutes and get some confidence back. It seems they've struggled a bit lately and we'll need them down the road.

The rest of the squad has been rock solid the past few weeks and I expect more of the same.

MM will be high scorer with 16, CF with 3 daggers, Shocks roll 86-63.

-25 is huge. Especially in a tournament setting when teams have reason to pull rotation players early in a blowout.

I think Vegas is just tired of WSU demolishing the spread the last 5 games.

-25 is huge. But I've said that about a lot of WSU spreads this year and would've got my ass burned.

Bradley is pretty horrible. I could see us slipping around for a little bit, getting the usual St Louis jitters out of the system and then wearing them down to a 20 point win. Marshall is gonna want to spread the minutes, like always.

                    ... No really, deuces.

Not to mention on a neutral court that has not exactly been kind to Wichita State over the years. Interestingly, the two closest games the Shocks have played in their current 12 game winning streak were gams at Bradley and at Drake. The Shocks won by 15 at Bradley in game that they trailed 20-25 at half.

It is college basketball and it is Arch Madness in St. Louis. I take nothing for granted and I'm sure 3G is doing everything he can to make sure the Shocks aren't taking anything for granted either.

I expect all 16 players to play. If we have a 25 point lead or more with 5 min left, empty the bench and don't put any of the regular 11 out there. Just win and stay rested.

                          Shockers - 84
                          Gargoyles - 67

Man, this game should not be close at all. But it's the Lew. Take nothing for granted. Jump out early, build a nice lead and play the bench. Shox defense kicks in after giving up way too many points and FG% the past two games. We maintain of MOV average.
