Thanks @shockmonster and @ShockTalk. I think MM was the crappy road we remember (basically no shoulders), so we'll just avoid that part.

I drive this a couple of times per month. Go 400 to the south edge of Pittsburg - go straight thru the intersection on 171 all of the way to Webb City. You will go past the dragstrip, Asbury - Harp's Grocerys - Joplin Airport - Mcdonalds - and some giant praying hands. Get on 249 just past the praying hands monument and go south to I-44. Once you get to Springfield - take the Chestnut Expressway across town.

I don't like 96. It's too narrow and drops off the edge. It's pretty equal timing wise but much better roads.

Also, as you come in to Joplin - Harps and Walmart Neighborhood Market are having a gas war. You will probably save .20 cents per gallon over gas in Kansas

About 11 hours until game time and I'm in my cousins apartment in Springfield can't sleep cause I'm excited to see these guys play one last time in person this year. Hard to believe this will be the last regular season game.

I can't believe it's the last game of the regular season already. I was so anxious for the season to start and it seems the season has flown by. This game should be a complete blowout and not even close. But we have everything to lose and the Bears have nothing to lose and that scares me.

3G knows how to motivate his players in these kinds of situations so I'm comfortable predicting we'll be 27 and 4 at the end of the day. Go Shox!

It is hard to think that. Shocker basketball is always the very best thing about the winter months, and I miss it so much the rest of the year.

Good Shocker teams have lost to worse teams than Missouri State in Valley play.

I imagine (hope) that embarrassing Missouri State is the last thing on the Shocks' mind. Playing well, playing hard and playing smart are no doubt the focus of the team.

If they are successful in doing that the outcome should be favorable. But it is college basketball and **** happens. I take nothing for granted.
