The team is right on the NCAA bubble. If they aren't at max focus right now due to that alone, something is wrong.

Not sure what "soon" means. But take that for what it's worth.
I think Muller said yesterday that McIntosh was cleared to run and jump. Expect him this weekend, if not tonight. I think there is little if any doubt about that.

Coming back in 2 weeks would be an exceptionally quick recovery. I suppose its possible, I sure healed fast back when I was 21 and in good shape.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

With MSU failing to walk through a wide open door tonight our hopes for an outright league title probably rest on UNI flopping it up on senior night.

Those were two of the worst FTs I've ever seen at the end of by Church.

The more I think about the outright part .. I'm not sure I really care. We win the next 3, we get to hang another banner. Back to Back to Back to Back MVC Champs. Sure ISU gets to hang one. Maybe that will be enough motivation for them to continue to be good in future seasons. Then if UNI could stop being only a February team, we might end up with more chances for quality wins in future seasons.

If both teams win out that would leave us as the #2 seed and I'm willing to accept that. It means I don't have to take a half day of vacation to watch them play at noon on Friday. Being the #2 they will get the late game. I know that means they have less rest before the next game.

Don't get me wrong I'd rather win outright but above is my justification for sharing.

WSU making the tourney is my number one concern. If that doesn't happen the rest of this post is irrelevant. Assuming we're in though...As much as I dislike ILSU, particularly Muller, I dislike the P5/ESPN/Palm establishment more. As long as we're in I want to see ILSU in as well and for them to win games because I think both teams are worthy (based on my eye test whatever that's worth).

Illinois State is looking more beatable the more games they play. I don't think they'll survive @UNI.

If we share the title, i give credit to Ill St. Hasn't been very often teams go 17-1 in conference in the MVCs history.

I know the Valley sucks, but still impressive.

My dream scenerio is WSU and Ill St win out and meet the mvc championship game. And with a little over 10 minutes left to go in the game HCDM calls a timeout and he and Doug Elgin walk down to the Shockers bench and ask HCGM to let Ill St keep it with in 10 points so there's a chance the valley gets 2 teams in the dance...... :)
Marge: The plant called and said that if you don't come in tomorrow, don't bother coming in Monday.
                          Homer: WOOHOO! Four day weekend.

... and then Gregg says "HELL NO!" and runs the score up even more while holding up middle fingers the rest of the game.

UNI just beat Bradley, at home, by 3.
Of their 9 MVC wins, only 1 was by double digits. In this year's MVC, that is really weak.

ISUr might lose at UNI, but I think even the Redbirds C+ game would be enough to win.

It's unlikely they lose any, but the Loyola game coming up seems like the most likely if they are going to lose a game. Even if it is at home.
