I am with SF.... this has only gotten worse over the last decade. The need for $$$$$ is part of the issue and I know they need it, but balance is important.

Since the conversation hit seating, you would think they could have found cup holders that would actually hold your drinks. I get my drinks in bottles because of the danger of a spill from a cup. Fortunately, I had the lid tightly replaced the first time I tried to use a cup holder.

I just wish they had cup holders on all the seats. I would be more inclined to spend the 5 bucks for a drink if I didn't have to worry about it being knocked over when the crowd stands or even worse, falling down under the row in front of you .

I don't know where you guys are sitting, but there's a substantial portion of the arena that is so tight if you added cupholders it would physically prevent people over the height of say 5'6" from sitting down.

I sit on the player bench side upper half, so I'm in the "benchback" seats. I get my soda in the bottle and set it behind me in the seat. If I'm not standing I tend to sit on the front edge anyway, because @HockeyShock has to be all manly and refuses to suck in his shoulders, so the pop bottle fits there pretty well.

I sit wherever I can get tickets which usually means upper benchback or sometimes chairback. I'm 6'3" so its a tight fit regardless of cup holders, i'd rather deal with them than have to set my drink on the floor.

We got our new seats in section 107 near the top after the remodel. We had to have them place a one inch spacer in the back of the two seats in front of us. Because my knees touched the back of the seat I'm 5' 10''. #Whitepeopleproblems .
