I hope we hold them under 60.

That's where the focus and intensity need to continue to manifest themselves.

The most intersting part will be seeing who guards Johnson and can we limit his production.

I think that Kelly, Brown and Duff will be most effective. Probably Willis will get a chance too.

Just a crazy hunch. Missouri State is coming off of a huge letdown and Wichita State is coming off of the biggest win of the year. Psychologically, one team is walking around campus having everyone pat them on the pack, telling them how great they are. And the other one is going to come out angry. WSU probably does not respect MSU at all. This Bears team still is probably the third most talented in the conference though.

Now I generally pick a Bears win, but if this one actually happens I will be a little bit bummed. Just when Lusk is looking like he is surely gone. But that is how college athletics is.

Your post wouldn't be nearly as crazy if we didn't have Sunday-Thursday to prepare for this game and if it weren't in Koch.

I highly doubt they can get him, that's not near enough of a step up. Their other picks seem to be coaches making in the $200-$300k range while Lusk is making $400k. Someone claimed they could have gotten Gregg Marshall while he was at Winthrop (which is obviously false). Someone also claimed SWOMO is the 2nd best job in the Valley (which is obviously false). Seems like every fan base is extremely delusional when it comes to coaching searches.

I'm not even entirely sure why they even want to try getting a low-major coach in the first place when at best he's going to be getting a $200k salary increase. Best case scenario he turns SWOMO around for 2-3 years and then jumps to a P5 or a better mid-major. Their only possible hope to is to grab an assistant or D2 coach who they can give raises to as he matures as a coach and hope he's not concerned with his career ladder like Ben Jacobson.
I think MSU has the potential to be the 2nd best job in the conference, but they have to rise to a perennial top-3 program then open the pocket-book to keep the coach that got them there. They were on that track before Martin went to Tennessee. Decently populated area with a nearly new arena that has been full or close to full at one point within the last 7 years.

Don't want to start a new thread with this. MVC conference call had no questions for Muller and only one for 3G, from Paul S. regarding the value of having PG play "come together." #G said Sure, most important position in our system. Finished by saying that having LS play a lot of minutes at PG gives us our best opportunity to succeed now and ... perhaps ... in the future.

"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:

Someone ought to ask Muller why he always wears brown shoes. Only brown shoes. Ever.

where he has to walk doesn't show as much.

This is not something I've ever noticed, so I did a quick search of Dan Muller pictures. I can confirm that 99% of the time he's wearing brown shoes...... other than this gem:

I thought pinstripes were supposed to be slimming? Why did he make sure his pants had room for an elephant's legs?

I do this for all of my tailored pants.

In my experience at least, it ain't for the legs.

Muller always dresses as though he is an alien whose only reference for human fashion is a poorly understood JC Penny catalog from 1994.
