Last year we had two of the best defensive players in our history playing guard.

And, not only that,Pin, but both of them are playing terrific defense in the NBA (I know, many laugh when the term defense and NBA are mentioned in the same breath) against some very terrific and much more athletic guards who are so far above the quality of guards our present squad has played or will play against while they are Shockers.

I sincerely hope all of our present and future guards achieve this same status as Fred and Ron and even surpass them.

But as of now, this is nowhere near the case, nor is it even close.

We had seats near the end of the Sycs bench, and it was clear that he was in pain while the trainer was tending to his face. Bet he looks rough today.
