I continue to be pleased with the platoon at PG. Both guys have their nights, both have their matchups. Tonight was Conner's show.

Also happy to see Shaq and Rauno both have big games. They don't thrive together often.

That first half was putrid, but nice to see the changes in play and energy in the second. Let's hope that's the team we see the rest of the season!

I went to a game against Drake in Des Moines two years ago on New Years Eve. The team had just returned from Hawaii.
We played as bad for 30 minutes that night as we did in the first half tonight. Ron bailed us out with some clutch baskets. Drake was no better than Evansville is this year.

We tend to have short memories but it's not like laying a turd hasn't happened the last four years, even in victory.

Saw some great things in the second half that made me forget the first.

Willis was a another that played like crap first half and redeemed himself in the 2nd. Growing pains.

We were just toying with them because we can, no? Great to see Shaq-Double-Double Morris, and Conner "no miss on 3's' Frankamp come through tonight. As ugly as the 1st half was, thank goodness we settled down and got the win. I like it!!! I like it a lot!!!!!!!!!!! A road win is a win is a win is a win. Next!!!

My old dog got up in the middle of the 1st half and laid a turd in the kitchen. Makes sense now.

77, not good. I have to say the schedule should have produced a better RPI than 77. Most of that is due to the failure of our opponents.

Nurger, Conner, Shaq, really good games. Willis and Shamet had there moments. Kelly had a good defense game along with Mcduffie. Totally different team the second half. Need to bottle that up. Need to keep on the Redbirds heels, new territory for them.
