One other thing... Reaves effective FG% is 70.7%! This basically accounts for 3s being worth more than 2s. So 2/5 from 3 (score 6 pts) is the same as 3/5 from 2 (also 6 pts).

Needless to say, Austin leads the team in eFG%.

Another note on Austin. The highest single player Ortg under 3G regardless of usage/playing time, was Fred in 2013-14 at ~130. Austin is on pace to beat that by a fairly significant margin.

Not gonna lie, it brings tears to my eyes to see effective field goal percentage, offensive rating, defensive rating, and usage become part of the SN lexicon. :eagerness:

          Some updates.
McDuffie is now listed as leading for Player of the Year

WSU now has the #1 conference Offense AND the #1 Conference Defense (ISU still barely edges out for D Ranking over the whole year though)

Conference Only ORtg for players with 40% of Minutes
          1. Landry
          2. Frankamp
          3. Nurger
          4. McDuffie
          5. Ingram

4 most efficient offensive players are on WSU.

I keep reading around the internet that "WSU isn't as good as they were with Fred and Ron last year" .. I'm not sure I believe that. So i wanted to do some comparisons.
            2017 Current 2016 End 2015 End
            KenPom Ranking 17 13 13
            AdjO 117.6 110.2 113.7
            AdjD 94.6 87.6 91.6
            AdjEM +23.00 +22.55 +22.16
            AdjT 69.2 (134) 66.5 (301) 62.8 (286)

So Lets take a look at those numbers. From a pure ranking standpoint, we are slightly worse than the 2 years before where we won 2 games in the tourney each year. If you did a little deeper though and look at AdjEM (adjusted Efficiency Margin) which is the number that KenPom uses to rank teams, we are actually better that both years. We have a higher raw number. Our AdjO is heads and shoulders above the last 2 years. The defense is pretty close to what it was in 2015, but still needs a bit of work. 2016 was a godly Defensive number that will be hard for us to match. Part of that is because we are playing a really fast tempo (AdjT). Way faster than the years before. The rankings for those years are in (). We went from bottom third to nearly top third in tempo.

So from a purely analytical standpoint, we are actually as good or better than the past two teams with Fred and Ron that went to the Sweet 16 and won 2 games in the tourney last year.
