I've seen at least 100 times on the face of those who thought they know whats its all about vs those who finally find out what its really all about once they don the stripes and actually try to blow the whistle and make the right call.
Just let me know when you are ready to pluck down $500.00 for the chance to try and learn how to make the right call.
That is all.
First off, I never said or implied that officiating was easy nor that I was capable of doing it. What I DID say/imply was that the NCAA rakes in piles of money and should be expected to train and pay and schedule (and discipline when necessary) officials adequately, such that they are able to perform at the highest level. At all levels below D1, I get it, officiating is tough and they're often volunteers or paid very little, etc etc. This logic does not apply to D1 NCAA basketball, where the resources are there but simply not being put to good use."The more difficult the victory, the greater the happiness in winning."

I would contend that conference assignors and the supervisor of officials would severely disagree with you and all the others that are on here bitching about the officiating, because these guys continue to work the NCAA Tournament and the big games. So our opinions really don't matter. If the NCAA thought there was a problem with the officiating, I'm sure they would take more measures. Ridiculous.
Still would like an appreciative response from ShockerNation the next time Higgy has one of our games, assuming he chooses to return to officiating.

Unbelievable Kentucky and Cal's response, a short paragraph response to the lunacy of their fan base. Cal could have at least reached out to Higgins. What an absolute chicken $hit way to handle it by both Kentucky and Cal.
