I personally commented as the game was going that Higgins was ruining a classic w/ a few calls and non calls....but man this is ridiculous. Not one other fan base would you ever see this from, just pathetic.

Don't pat yourself on the back too hard. Adolph Rupp was born in Halstead, I wouldn't be knocking him too hard. It's very possible he learned 'all his lessons' growing up in Kansas, which, by the way, makes me and everyone from Kansas look bad.

Feel pretty bad for him. The Kentucky fans need to put down their meth pipes and back off. Way too over the top at this point. It is getting to the point criminal proceedings need to be invoked.
Calipari and the UKAD need to be leaders and issue a powerful statement. ANY booster identified will have their tickets revoked if they have them and will not be allowed to purchase tickets to any event, to the best of UK's ability to keep them from doing so. They should apologize to John. Immediately.

Why? Why does that make you look bad? It doesn't make me look bad, and I've lived every day of my life in this great state.

Here's a case, very similar to the one we're discussing here (except in this case the target is a LEO):

Yep. For anyone who hasn't read it, "Glory Road" by Don Haskins (coach of the 1966 UTEP/Texas Western team) is absolutely worth it. He absolutely despised Adolph Rupp for some things he said about that Texas Western team. Also some nice Wichita/Cleo Littleton references in there.

I have always thought that the portrayal of Don Haskins in that movie reminded me of 3G. Tough, hard-nosed coach who had to scratch and claw for every bit of his success...

Kentucky has the best and worst fans in college basketball. When the Wildcats are eliminated in the NCAA tournament, guess which faction takes over? At best, complaining about officiating for more than an hour or two after a loss is an incredibly lame waste of time.

                      ... No really, deuces.

If I were Higgins, I would get a lawyer and start rounding up all the individuals that are trying to ruin his business reputation and see how tough they are when they have to face him in court.

You would be taking a bunch of worthless Kentucky fans to court .. and would get .. nothing out of them and they really don't have anything to lose. I wouldn't put it past some of them to actually cause physical harm to him and his family if he did that.

I guess that's the risk you take. I wouldn't let a bunch of redneck assholes ruin my livelihood.

My father was roommates with Cleo Littleton on track trips except in towns like yours (Houston), where Cleo was not allowed to stay in the same hotel as the rest of the team. So yes I will pat myself on the back a little.

I don't think this will hurt his officiating or roofing business. He can put an add in every parish bulletin in Omaha and have plenty of work. He is well known but it sure may affect his peace of mind and especially his families. The school needs to step in and send a strong message like someone else mentioned. Hit some of these moon shiners where it really hurts.
