I thought that about Bradley but not about Drake. Drake's 2nd half against the Shockers gave a hint that they might be better than expected under Coach Rutter.

I agree, but I wasn't sure if it was due in part to the Shockers being complacent once they go the big lead.

Kinda like with Loyola, the shockers pushed the lead out to 19 you could see Loyolas body language was not good, a couple of lazy offensive and defensive possessions by the Shockers part and all of the sudden Loyola looked like a different team.

And like Marshall mentioned after the Drake game, now we have to travel to Drake and they have the confidence they can compete with them now.

The thing with Drake is they just had a horrible shooting 1st half against the Shocks. You could see in the 2nd half that they have enough good pieces to give most Valley teams a challenge.

Interesting stat about 2nd halves at home against Bradley, Drake, and Loyola.

Except for 3 straight minutes during the 2nd half where we outscored Bradley 15-2, all 3 teams have outscored WSU for a combined score of 119-111.

Bradley 35-34, Drake 44-39, and Loyola 40-38. The bottom of our bench is only responsible for about 5 points of that.

I know it can be hard to keep energized when you have a big lead, but most of our players are competing for playing time and that should be good incentive to not let up.
