This group needs to play alittle smarter and play the 3 point line better. Overall I thought we played better defense second half, rebounded good and had some big offensive rebounds 2nd half. Willis, Mcduffie big games. Brown great defense on Scott. Nurger with a 5 minute flurry. Good start to defending our title.

We hit the boards really well in the second half. May have been the difference in the game. Indiana State looks like a 3-4th place finisher right now.

Incredible amount of brain farts

Young teams do such things like fouling 3 point shooters like what, 3 different times? We missed some throws down the stretch. Even so, these Shock hit the glass and just wanted to win this game enough to make so smart plays with hustle as well. No "Great Scott Syndrome" allowed by our D. in the 2nd half and Brown helped lots on that. MM complimented Willis inside and was glad to see Rauno have a much better go in the 2nd half while it lasted.

Frustrating mistakes tonight but we knew we were going to get that with this group. InSU is a solid team and anybody will have tough time against them at home. Once this team cuts the mental errors out it will be pretty damn good.

Willis being a good ft shooter is a definite big time plus. I'm particularly pleased that he's staying away from the fouls. I was concerned about that early.

Lots of solid effort from WSU. But plenty of things to clean up. McDuffie really stepped up into "big shot" role. Low IQ play, that has to get better. Shamet should run a lot for that one play. But good road win. Smith should not start. Nurger earned mins.

Somewhat inexperienced, but not all that young with 7 juniors including 2 redshirt juniors.
