I'm still in shock over the beatdown we took from the Cowboys and haven't recovered from my trip to cold, dreary Kansas to watch my beloved Shockers in person at IBA. What a bummer of a trip even though the whole family went to the game to celebrate my Dad's 89th birthday.

I think this game depends on which Indiana State team shows up. Is it Dr. Jekyll (who can't get past Quinnipiac) or Mr. Hyde (who knocks off Butler)?

Everybody says it's our game to lose but I'm still not sure our guys have figured themselves out. First one to 65 wins.

Those without Cox 😉. Looks like the game isn't blacked out on espn 3 in Kansas only Indiana which means it's probably the ISUb play by play so those looking forward to Aubrey's color commutating are out of luck but that least it isn't the Bruce!

Smart money should come in tomorrow and bring the line back to single digits I would imagine. That's a ton of points to be giving for a team that's starting off on the road against a team who beat Butler.

No road games are easy, especially with a team that has not totally established their leadership identity. Valley teams know us more than other teams do so while we've had one true road win, the Valley is usually more bloody.

As usual, RefChick and I will be there. This will make 32 out of the last 34 years for this titanic struggle. The years have certainly flown by.

Suggest looking just North of Hulman for parking. There are some lots and also the street.

Hulman, despite the age, is a nice arena. Nothing fancy, but they have taken good care of it over the years and has served them well.
Don't expect a lot of Tree fans. There will be the usual core but would be surprised if there is over 5K there tonight.

Bradley? Okay, maybe. They certainly could use a little bit of success to give some future momentum. It would be nice to see Bradley relevant again in the Valley standings in the next couple of years.

Drake? No way. I cannot see any value in them winning a single MVC game. They will likely be a 300+ RPI team, so they might as well go 0-fer and not try to drag anyone else down with them.
