    Tweet from Erik Haslam (Haslametrics):

Wichita State hits season-best #14 ranking today. Sets up great matchup v. #49 Oklahoma State Saturday. Up-tempo. We have it Shockers 93-77.

Find a sports bar where they have the ability to stream it on a big screen off a laptop.
Very few have the knowledge or ability to do that though.

It's ESPN 3 only, so no blackout restrictions. A roku, apple tv, chrome cast, fire stick, etc will allow tv access with just an internet connection. No cable package needed.

I don't know what other games are on the slot for Saturday...but it sure seems like the networks might've missed on a really good national game in Wichita.

If nothing else just connect your laptop to the big screen with an HDMI cable. Or just watch it on the computer.

I love how on Orange Power they are dogging Wichita and then one poster makes this great suggestion. "Perhaps we should figure out how to prevent televising the game when they have to come to GIA!!!"

Shockernation must be full of geniuses who are excited this game isn't on ESPN, 2,U, CBS,etc. You know we just hate having national exposure. :confusion:

                  Really?

ESPN3 is great if you are looking for a specific game, but many will not go there just to browse if you have 6-8 games on "easy get" TV.

He was 50% with the Jim Rome rules- He had a take, but it DID suck.

"Weekend Picks... and must-watch matchups" - Sports Illustrated

Oklahoma State (8–2) at Wichita State (9–2)

                      Saturday, 6 p.m.

We all know the Shockers lost their star-studded backcourt tandem, yet here they are, ranked fourth in the country in defensive efficiency and riding a four-game win streak that includes a win over Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. Wichita State also leads the country in bench minutes, so you know they have balance and depth, and therefore more margin for error. I think Wichita State's ability to swarm and lock up scorers will make things too difficult for Jawun Evans and company.

Wichita State 74, Oklahoma State 68

I hope we can win this game and every article written about this team can stop having a first sentence about Ron and Fred. It's time for this team to get credited with their own identity, not just "wow, they don't suck as much as us media assumed they would."

I expect the "no Ron and Fred" approach to continue in most articles for the rest of the season. It doesn't bother me as much as it does some of you. Sure, the current group of players might want more credit and focus on what they are doing, but the Ron/Fred combo was THE face of WSU to the nation the last 4 years.

And what a quality face it was. Not just as players, but as individuals. :good:

Mr. McDuffie was pretty fired up for the IBA game last year and shined and I think this year will be no different. Solid team effort as always but I think he will be the one hitting full stride this game along with Dai Dai getting some steals and knocking down some clutch shots. I see an interesting game with the shocks pulling away midway through the second half.
