Love that attitude! Flying into town on Friday for the annual pilgrimage home to visit family and attend the IBA game. Hope the weather doesn't strand me in Chicago on Friday as I don't want to miss the game. Wouldn't mind being stranded in Doo Dah if it keeps me out of work a couple extra days.

As for the game, OSU is one of the fastest paced teams (4th nationally according to Haslametrics) we will probably face this season. It will be interesting to see how much our defense slows them down and limits their transition game/points. I expect this one to be another close battle and will boil down to our ability to stop their scoring. This is another team that seems to get to the FT line far more than their opponents and that will be another challenge for the Shox on Saturday.

I don't see this being a blowout for either team and think it will come down to the last few minutes with the winner having no more than a five point edge. I think the IBA magic continues. Looking forward to seeing a great game and my first in person view of the Shox this season!

Looks like both Juwan Evans and Phil Forte played 20 minutes for the Pokes last night. Both should be in the lineup on Saturday. OSU beat Arkansas-Pine Bluff 102-66.

I watched part of their game last night. OSU played extremely aggressive defense. They trapped at every opportunity and tried to jump every passing lane. They also were pretty sloppy with the ball and gave up a bunch of fast break chances.

They will probably either force us into a bunch of turnovers or will give up loads of easy baskets when they gamble and lose. My bet is on the latter.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

The really good news is that we have the personnel to prepare for that type of game. We have as good, or better, athletes than just about anyone in the country, so we can practice very intense presses and traps to get ready.

A lot of times, trapping teams don't like to be trapped. They want to always be the aggressor. I wonder if HCGM will employ much pressure defense during this game. If he does it could be pretty damn exciting to watch.

I was unaware the game was on last night, so I only caught the last couple of minutes with the sound off(wife was on the phone)....what was the deal with Underwood and the player he sat down by to talk? The kid looked like he has lost his best friend...

BTW...I think the Mildcats must be kicking themselves over not getting rid of Weber for Underwood...

Excited about WSU's upcoming +15 first half FT disparity on Saturday! You know, since I've been told that when you're at home you get all the calls.

                  That's only if you're a member of a P6 conference.

Colorado St. doesn't play in a 'P6' conference.

P7? P8? It's gotta fit in there somewhere.

The KSU fans that I know wanted Underwood from the get go. AD Currie thinks he has too much Martin stink on him. Most of my friends have wanted Currie gone for some time now.
One quick note before we present the rankings: With Wichita State’s move to the American Athletic Conference, the Shockers have moved out of the mid-major club. We wish the Shockers well against Cincinnati, UConn, SMU, and more.

SM gets into early foul trouble but DW continues to shine.
LS and CF warm up from the perimeter. We win another
                            exciting game 88-85

That was his son. He had just came out of the game after getting his bell rung running into a solid screen. He was really wobbly coming off the court and had a 1/2-3/4" cut under his right eye.

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I just learned the O-State game isn't on TV. How could that happen?
