I'm a Shocker. I'd walk to the arena on my knees in the snow for my Shocker basketball fix.

The high road, eh? THAT'S a road that a few posters here don't travel much....:)...not you, however, Dave!

It's a little different situation when you're driving in from out of town. I stupidly came in for the UAB game at CKA in 2007 when I should have just stayed home. But if the high-side estimate is 3" it shouldn't be a problem.

3" of snow is no problem as long as we don't get the usual layer of ice first and as long as the roads don't become snow-packed. Doesn't really seem to matter though we always seem to have some folks who drive like they have never seen snow when we get our first snow of the year. The predicted 25-35 winds out of the north won't be very pleasant though and could cause some visibility and drifting issues.

The NWS is predicting freezing drizzle before the snow so we should have nice slick roads for the trip downtown.:cold:
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

If everyone could make the 2015 UNI home game when ESPN GameDay came to town, people should be fine with this. It snowed like 4 or 5 inches that day. Just drive slow and carefully.

The game has been sold out for weeks on the primary market, and what few are available on the secondary market range from about $70-$300. At the risk of stating the obvious, one would assume demand for the event is such that people will make it out to the game, short of weather conditions getting much worse than predicted.

Just noticed that OSU has the shortest average defensive length of possession in the country... a mere 14.5 seconds.

Will be interesting to see if WSU takes quick shots, or makes the Cowboys play defense for the full shot clock.

Is there anyone that has watched to see if they actually "hurry" teams up, or if they're just not very good in transition defense?

I watched some 2 of their games in Maui. They pressure the ball pretty hard....their success is spotty. Leads to a bunch of fast breaks for them, but also gives up a lot of easy buckets. OSU is very good in transition offense. Myself, I would attempt to make them play defense for 20-25secs. Just my take from early season.

What you are saying is some posters post while being HIGH. Sounds about right.

Yes, I'm re-digesting and processing all of that information that you posted about OU, as I think it will help me determine the outcome of this game. In fact it has! I think based on the OU data, the probable atmospheric conditions, and Daishon's new 'tude that the outcome of the game will be somewhat in the ballpark of:

                              75
                              74
