Time to start selling the student tickets

If there are still student/GA tickets available at game time, a student can walk up and get a ticket. This year the ticket office has reduced the number of days between making the tickets available for pick up by the students and the game. They now have 4 or 5 days before the extras are sold as GA. The next ticket pick up date is Friday for the Intrust game. That means any tickets not picked up by the students as of Thursday of next week will go on sale to the public.

Don't know about that as he was tweeting about this during the game.

Here is my take (maybe a little sarcastic). We complained about 4 years ago when the returning adults were filling the student seats and leading the younger students.
They got frustrated with holding the university back and stopped sitting in the student section.
Then we complained about the students not being organized, pretty or skinny enough, or loud enough.
They got frustrated with holding the university back and stopped sitting in the student section.
Now we wonder where the students are....

Marshallville has been doing everything they possibly can. They've been fantastic. I follow their Twitter account, and they tweet multiple times about tickets still being available before a game and encourage everyone to get their tickets. They have themed games like the ugly Christmas sweater one last night. They had a coat drive last night. All this work and not enough students give a crap.

Besides, the problem isn't with the student die hards that actually show up and make noise, it's with the more flippant ones.

Sorry, when you're playing Sister's of the Poor, paired with winning by 30+ PPG, it'a going to be a little quite in the Chuck.
Also, the way University culture is these days, there are probably students hiding in safe-spaces, afraid of being offended by anyone.
All (half) joking aside, I've spoken up to the athletic department that they need someone on campus that's job it is to get people pepped up with Shocker Pride and to get butts in seats. They also need to hire someone new to run in game promotions, because they are crowd killers.
I expect IBA to be rocking and to have MVC games pick up the intensity at CKA. No more Xenon School of Hair teams on the schedule. Yes, the bottom half of the Valley is very weak, but every conference game matters. The Assman
