    Drake's biggest problem is that they are still pretending to be D1.

      Why would a coach leave in the middle of the year? Surely Drake wouldn't have fired him in early December. The other possibility is that he saw no way to get better at Drake, felt that it was a futile effort with limited resources, and threw in the towel, retiring to a better life with less stress.

              Maybe...it's hardly the worst D1 job. It's just my opinion, but I don't think Drake would go after Heier. Don't ask why, it's only an opinion based on nothing but my gut feeling.

                I would wonder about Steve Forbes, but I'm not sure that Drake is a step up from ETSU, and I'm not sure the Drake job pays more than ETSU.
