Why don't you remember this post as you watch MSU the rest of the year...this won't go well for you. Or just ask yourself why he didn't even look at the rim for a jump shot the entire game while the rest of the team was playing 4 on 5 in the half court.

Ugh! And since Bush's FG % is only 20% on the season, we are completely screwed!

      • I will add that any coach in America would take a result where perhaps the opposing team's most dynamic player scores 14 on 15 shots like we held Snyder to in the Louisville game.

Criticism regarding CF's performance on offense in the 2 losses is very valid and he has to figure out how to better leverage his shooting ability to make us better against quality defenses, but his defense was very solid in both games.

In fact, most of the good looks Snyder got were results or non-existent ball screen hedges.

IIRC, this is the way it was.

          • I just rewatched all three games today. This team has talent but no identity. They don't know when to play inside out, when to play fast or slow..... so they just play fast all the time. Playing fast is great if you execute and hit your long J's when you don't it leads to bad defense and WSU loses control of the tempo of the game and no lead is safe which puts them under tremendous mental strain. SLOW DOWN and use the clock to wear the other team down. Don't waste the depth.
Someone has to lead this team on the court and control the tempo.

GM will, figure it out but he,may have to shake up the team to get the chemistry right. This team has been run by Fred the past three years and the great set ups and pacing were strengths. So the challenge is who's going to own it now that he's gone? CF? DS? Maybe they all have to do it together somehow. The sooner they figure it out the better the team will be. Lots of room to,grow and be great.
