I needed this laugh so badly today. Thanks for the dumb.

A certain wing player who fits the description "ever since Conner got here". Gee, I wonder who that could be, is it Brown or McDuffie? I really don't know. I've only watched every game, some more than once, and I have not noticed this phenomenon.

Of the 10 who play regularly, CF is last in FG% and last in 3FG%. Is CF's inability to get a shot down because "a certain wing player never passes him the ball", or does that "certain wing player" not pass him the ball because there are other options on the floor that have a better chance of putting points on the board?

William, when you blatantly attack one of the two leading scorers on the team in defense of the worst shot-maker on the team, you're going to get that shot-maker's performance evaluated.

        Check out the assist stats

        Brown - 11
        McDuffie - 10
        Frankamp - 11

It looks like "a certain wing" is finding the right guys to pass the ball to fairly regularly.

Oh man, stat talk after 4 games..... Since you said it, Brown doesn't look for Conner much, no big deal, just strange. It has stuck out over the last year.

It's probably a moot point, cf will most likely settle into last years role behind Landry and Austin before long anyway.

A guy who plays the 3/4 isn't looking to be the main assist guy. Shocking. Conner also happens to have one of the worst effective field goal percentages on the team, but don't let facts get in your way.

lol, 1/3 of Conners attempts are forced up crap at the end of the shot clock, maybe half.

If he keeps shooting those mid ranges at a high percentage, im alright with him shooting. Eric just needs to slow down. With his athleticism, he could be very good, but imo if he doesn't show any improvement, he might be gone after this year to bring in another 3/4. I hope he proves me wrong.

No we both like Willis. He was a scorer last year & has taken the step up to D1 where Marshall puts a lot of responsibility on his players. He has come along nicely as has Smith the other Juco player. Our over all ball movement from side to side has been a pleasant surprise to me. Thought we had talent but the offense would take a little time to be smooth. We have been very exciting to watch if the refs would ease up on the whistles. I am just a happy shocker enthusist that looks forward to continued growth from our team.

Darral has the makings to be the best JUCO Marshall has brought in outside of Early, and that's a pretty strong list. We typically see a semester or year learning curve with our JUCO guys. Darral's curve was 1 game. Smith has been much better than I was expecting as well.

I probably shouldn't go here cause I don't want to suggest I am being
over critical of any player, BUT I did mention in a previous post
somewhere that ZB was playing very well except that he was missing
a few opportunities finding open team mates. Yes, I know he has good
assist numbers so far. I did not mention CF specifically, in fact, the
wide open pass opportunities were to other players. I do think that
Brown gets the ball stuck in his hands a little longer sometimes. Some
here are being critical of CF which I don't understand. You may be
critical of his shooting % but I'd bet GM still wants him to be the
number one option to take that last second game winner. Both CF
and ZB are playing well and any negative stat they have now could
very well change. Right now I am not singling out any player in a
negative way. They are playing well together as a team but
individually they all have some flaws and room for improvement.
