Congrats to the Wichita Sniper! I believe he is only 4 made 3's away from the league lead in MVC games.
At his current trajectory, I like his odds of taking the top spot.

Nicely done. Maybe an MVC post-season honor is in the cards after all. It would be a well earned Team award. Keep it up.

. Or when Conner and Landrys minutes both approach 25-30 minutes.

Way to go, Connor. I hope it's the first of many MVC Player of the Week awards.

It is more this. You can make everyone ineffective when minutes are sporadic.

Bigs can deal with it, guards tend to struggle.

Against the Bears, Conner scored 10 pts., had 2 assists, and 0 turnovers. However, this is my favorite stat of that game. CF led our Squad with 4 steals. What? Yes, 4 steals and That gets favor with Coach Marshall who preaches defense. Anytime our Offense creates 7-12 open shots for CF in a given game, we will benefit as a team for that. Conner is indeed our very best shooter and is gaining game-time confidence that we hope will just keep growing. With Bake and FVV here last Season, Conner learned from the best.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

So glad for CF and the Shockers to have him. He has improved his defense tremendously and the steals are more than a welcome sight. It is a great benefit to have "our very best shooter" ranking 11th (conf only 7th) on the team in FG%, 10th (conf 8th) in 2-pt FG%, 4th (conf 5th) in 3-pt FG% and 5th (conf 6th) in FT%.

I think Frankamp has taken more 30 foot, at the shot clock buzzer, off balance, tightly guarded shots than anybody else, which makes his 3-point shooting percentage look worse than it actually should be,

Yes, he has often had the ball in his hands with 10-12 seconds left and dribbles and dribbles to get this 30 foot, at the shot clock buzzer, off balance, tightly guarded shot off, but how many wide open, totally unguarded 3-pointers has he missed?

CF is finally showing his shooting ability, which is a good thing. It still is just equal to AR's first ever 19 3-pt shot attempts at the Div-1 level, and he's doing it with two shabby shoulders. I love CF and really hope (not yet ready to call it "expect") he continues to show this is not a "hot streak" but really how great he is. AR's consistency to date is a quite impressive target, however:

Lest anyone forget, Eric Hamilton was a better three point shooter than Ron last year. You know, just in case you missed the literal dozens of im4wsu posts pointing that out any time someone said Ron was our best or one of our best shooters.

Airtight analysis ftw. If someone wants to sissy fight over whether CF, AR or LS is our best outside shooter, go crazy, there are arguments to be made for all 3 right now. However, constantly pointing that guys with ~20 or less attempts on the season have a superior percentage to any of the regular bombers carries as much weight as noting JRS was hands down, by far our best 3 point shooter last season, so much so that Ron and FVV were lucky to even be in the same conversation from a 3FG% standpoint.
