And I doubt he's ever gone off like that. I'd attribute a lot of it to the Koch Effect.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

I agree - both LS / AR see the court and deliver passes where they need to be.
Quick guards are going to give us trouble.
Interesting line up at crunch time with both SM and RN down the stretch.
MM, ZB, and DW have to play better. ZB does not see the court very well. He
stood there and looked at a wide open RN and just ignored him.
If only EH could play down low defense - everything else pretty good.
CF needs to shoot more.
This team will improve a lot by the end of the season.

Potential is absolutely there. It was a pretty big offensive mess for a while though. I thought after CF's 3 to start the 2nd half that we were gonna run out to a 30 point blowout. Marshall was still experimenting with weird lineups and benched the starters when Augusta started chipping away. What was definitely unusual during Sherril's little run was that the team just looked like it gave up. Definitely wouldn't have seen that in the previous regime but the team just looked like it panicked and made some completely boneheaded plays and decisions. If that's what we have to look forward to in close games, then there's gonna be problems. I was hoping CF, Shamet, or Shaq would be the go-to guys there at the end. Thankfully Shaq came up large. That dunk was pretty awesome in an otherwise tasteless scrimmage. McDuff needs to assert himself more on the offensive end. He seemed really passive and tentative. It ain't gonna get any easier against D-1 competition, bud.
Rebounding and defense will need to continue to improve. Well, let's face it, the offense does too. This team will be pretty salty by the time February and March comes around. Let's hope the bumps and bruises they're gonna take in November and December won't kill anybody's confidence.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Shaq was great. Shamet was good too. Hamilton showed some ability to play the 5 in a back up role.
Willis and MM did not have good games but Gregg said that Willis doesn't play that way during practice. MM will get it going.

Let's face it. There won't be as many people all season watching him play that were watching him today. Koch Effect.Deuces Valley.

Shaq is not going to average 24 but that type of offensive efficiency will take us a long way.
Landry and Conner were not aggressive the first half. Better the second.
Four guard rotation coming up. CF, LS, DS and AR.
Willis played nervous. That will pass.
Surprised Markis didn't make more of a statistical impact. We will need him to produce on a consistent basis.
Number 10 went off patially because no one wanted to help off on him. Think Evansville guys.
There is going to be a lot of competition for minutes. The toughest will survive. Weakness will be given a opportunity to sit and watch.Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

Yah, Willis was not impressive at all whatsoever. Soft, buttery, and just looked mixed up out there. Marshall is attributing it to nerves which I guess is reasonable. He's probably not gonna be a factor until late.Deuces Valley.
