    The team that played Saturday is a Top 15 team. That team needs to show up consistently for us to really move up though. A few more blowouts and it should start to get noticed.

      What do you mean by this? People can select their top 25 using 10,000 different methods.

      Do you think 25+ teams would have beat us on Saturday? Do you just think our body of work isn't one of the 25 best in the country? Do you think we haven't shown ourselves to be consistent enough to warrant being one of the 25 best teams in the country? etc.

        As of today, WSU is ranked #17, and one of only 10 teams ranked top 25 in both AdjO and AdjD -- one of whom is NOT Kansas, interestingly enough. How much influence do metrics have on the poll voters? We'll see.

        Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing WSU stay under the radar, get into the tournament, do some damage, and once again get the same kind of, "How did anyone overlook these guys?" attention and accolades they've enjoyed in recent years.

          I'm not sure we are a top 25 team right now.

          Would be nice if we were in a conference where we could play a top 25 team or 2 after January 1st...

          We would have beaten a lot of top 25 teams on Saturday. I'm not sure we would have on Wednesday.

                              Yes and no. Being ranked shows respect. It would be even harder for them to leave out a ranked team and is also ranked extremely high in every analytical ranking.
