I like them much better than last years. Last years away jerseys were probably my least favorite in recent memory. Not perfect, but an improvement.

Yeah, I'm not a fan either. I've held off saying anything because I didn't want to be the lone negative take.

The design is super plain, and the script can best be described as feminine. We're not going to be intimidating anyone with this look, that's for sure.

Someday... someday, we'll have unis and gear commensurate with the level of the program we have. Until then I guess we'll live with the stuff that looks like it was ordered by a sports admin intern for an NAIA team.

Someone lacking in the skillset necessary for the task.

There's a reason why designers design, engineers engineer, and accountants account.

Throw the job of designing a uni (under whatever given constraints exist, such as the Nike site we've been using) to the graphic design faculty at WSU (or something) and I guarantee you we'd be looking slick.

I'd be fascinated to know who makes the decision. I'd assume that if you knew, you wouldn't want to share, because it would play directly into my narrative.

I'd bet a small sum that whoever does the ordering has no business doing so, from a use of right brain perspective. I say that as a left brain guy who's not qualified to do it either.
