Interesting list. Not surprised to see Izzo at the top. Surprised, but happy, to see Williams so low. And kind of shocked that Boeheim didn't receive a single vote. I'm not a fan of his by any means, but he's one of the longest tenured coaches at one of the more established programs in the country.

The coaches on that list I would definitely not want my son to play for:

Coach K - Everything I have heard indicates he is an awful human being.
Scott Drew - Can't coach his way out of a paper bag. Seems like a sleazeball.
Roy Williams - Also a sleazeball, the "dog gone it/aw shucks" attitude is too much when he let stuff go on at UNC.
Rick Pitino - Bad human being.

(I also wonder if some coach selected themselves. That would be pretty funny.)

And yes, I would absolutely let my son play for Bill Self.

When I worked for Glaxo in NC, Coach K spoke on our campus numerous times each year. I had the pleasure of hearing several speeches and sharing lunch and breakfast at his table. He is a good guy, at least in those circumstances. Interesting, interested, and very engaging.
