In a basketball game and given the situation, it was WAY worse than anything I've seen from Stephenson. Not really even in the same stratosphere. I've never seen a reaction like that on a basketball court before in recent memory.
I agree - in this situation it just doesn't make much sense. But it preseason and maybe he's working on his John Calipari impersonation (e.g. Kentucky vs S. Carolina game in February 2016).
I saw Rauno go down, someone else, and Connor get knocked on his ass. I think coach wasn't about to watch a player get hurt and he blamed the refs. Maybe Nurger already is.

Did you actually see what happened and if so how much have you had to drink tonight?
That is all.
This. I've got NO problem chewing the ref, getting T'd and even getting thrown out. Gregg was shoving his own players and coaches 94X50. That's a whole different animal. He's got to make that right, immediately.
I'm basing everything from what I saw with my own two eyes. It was not pretty. I don't care what the freaking officiating has been.
Perhaps you can be the star witness then for the tar and feather club that seems to have sprung up in here tonight. For sure watching gives you the whole story of what transpired.
When your not practicing, someone somewhere is and when you meet him...he'll beat you.
I'll wait until all the facts come out to make my opinion. However we have a very competitive coach who's spent all game watching McGill make flying blocks into his players. Wouldn't be out of the question to say he had enough and protected his players the best he can. Way to many sanctimonious people here casting their stones if judgement.
This... There was some dangerous illegal moves that not only weren't being called, they were calling them on the team being fouled. Tons of illegal screens ( sticking knees into players while passing), over the back, just straight up shoving etc. He has to protect his players
I still love our coach. I just think that was way excessive. I guess I can see him getting that fired up if he fears for his players safety. He doesn't want any more star players going down before the season starts. I wasn't paying super close attention to see if there was any dangerous plays, but that would at least make sense.

It might be a "meaningless" exhibition game, but watching on TV it looked like these asshole refs were allowing McGill to play rugby with us out there. Good for coach for standing up for his players and good for the players for responding.
I don't have a problem with Marshall standing up for his players but there's a certain line you don't cross. I think that line was shattered. Did you actually see the whole incident? Marshall was legitimately ready for a fist fight. You're telling me that type of behavior is acceptable over some physical basketball with uneven whistles in an exhibition game in Canada?
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.
