Actually if you think about it was no worse than what Mean Gene or Kemnitz have ever done. Just kind of crazy it happened in a meaningless exhibition game. He defended his team - and looks like his team responded.

I agree. I was pretty appalled. And I'm actually kind of appalled they didn't think it was a big deal.

It's a meaningless exhibition game in Canada and a bad whistle. Just not even close to excusable for the behavior that ensued.
