"Tuesday's Bubble Tracker: NCAA Tournament resumes could take big hits" - CBS SPorts

(Teams on the bubble play teams which can't help them, but if they lose, could certainly hurt them)

by Jerry Palm, CBS Sports Senior Writer
    02/21/17, 3:00pm

    "...Wichita State Shockers
    8 p.m. (ESPN3), vs. Evansville

Wichita State, the darling of predictive computer rankings and now poll voters, plays another MVC also-ran at home. The Shockers have not and will not be a sure NCAA Tournament team this season, but they also have no bad losses, and losing to Evansville would change that in a big way."

He has stupid hair, and is likely suffering from short man's syndrome. (That last part was a guess, as I have no idea how incredibly short he is).

It's become personal with him which a "professional" shouldn't let happen.

Facepalm is like Gottlieb has been: he's carving out a solo path, and if somehow he ends up being right no one will ever hear the end of it. In the likely event he's wrong, he figures no one except Shocker fans will remember; and we're just a small band of deplorables from flyover country, so what's to lose?

Palm looks like a disheveled, homeless guy that fell off a train and landed in a CBS office.

"USA TODAY Sports Bracketology: Let's not forget about Wichita State" - USA Today

by Shelby Mast and Scott Gleeson
                        Feb. 22, 2017, 9:03 a.m. ET

"Remember that program that stunningly went to the Final Four in 2013, almost finished undefeated in 2014, went to the Sweet 16 in 2015, and won its third consecutive Missouri Valley Conference title last season?..."

The headline is so hopeful, until you see where they they place them in their newest update of Bracketology.

Well, obviously they didn't forget WSU -- after all, the headline didn't say anything about valuing them, just not forgetting them. I'd say that's better than a lot of what passes for news and other coverage in USA Today.
