Not no, but Hell-to-the-no!!! Not when I watched the Panthers beat the Chickens several weeks later as the following results of a loss to that same Aces team. His only point was/is on the top of his head:

The following results also included an AA SG returning to the lineup.

The 2013 FF team was not the 2013 MVC regular season team, as much as Evansville would like to deny it.

I heard somwhere last year that it was 5 yrs, but I never checked. I went to GoShockers & looked at WSU's record for 2011-12. They lost their 1st round game at the Dance that year to VCU, 59-62.
We have, however, made the "second round" the past 5 years, since the play-in games were considered the first round in 2012. Maybe that's what you were thinking of?

Wichita State's average margin of victory in 14 MVC games is 22.7 PPG. The Shockers aren't just beating teams, they're destroying them.

          • I still think if you are in the conversation and getting votes for the top 25, you should be a shoe in for the tourney.

            • Conner Frankamp and Wichita State have won nine straight games. Just ask him if this Wichita State team of his is ahead of schedule so far. “We don’t try to evaluate our season until it’s over,” Marshall said Sunday after beating Loyola-Chicago.

              • March 19, 2016 marked the end of an era for Wichita State basketball. On that day, seniors Ron Baker and Fred VanVleet played their last game...

                • Did you see the comment that says no one on this years team will sniff a minute of NBA or D League action???

I would pose that McDuff and Shamet are both better NBA prospects than Baker was in his soph year.

While I agree with the premise that McDuffie and Shamet have real chances of playing in the league(and I will be shocked if McDuffie doesn't), let's not undersell where Ron was at the end of his sophomore year, came off a 20 point outing against Kentucky. He truly could have entered the draft after that season and been picked in a similar range as Cle.

Well, my main point is that at the very minimum, those 2 will see the D league. The poster is an idiot.

A deep run from this team means that Shamet and McDuffie at minimum play brilliantly. Certainly will draw some eyes, McDuffie especially given his younger age(won't turn 20 until the fall, fun fact: he's younger than Josh Jackson) will turn some heads.
