Yes, Mountain Man, that's the key -- I'd be surprised if anyone not associated with Evansville would favor Taylor over McDuffie.

I'd be surprised if anyone not associated with Evansville knew who he was ... I sure didn't.

That 5 probably doesn't top many of the blue bloods with multiple guys in the Naismith Hall of Fame, but that lineup is a very impressive group.

We can play best of 5 for a box of donuts.
One quick note before we present the rankings: With Wichita State’s move to the American Athletic Conference, the Shockers have moved out of the mid-major club. We wish the Shockers well against Cincinnati, UConn, SMU, and more.

That crew could chew some glass though.

Actually, neither did I until I looked him up. He's a stealth first-teamer.

Thanks for the reminder, Monkey. I said Baker as a possible all-time Shocker SG, someone else said Perez, but what do you do with Armstrong / Jabali? Is he really not a top five player? He was the 6-2 version of X on a lesser Shocker team.

I think he looked down the roster, saw "Ryan" and stopped reading, believing Colt Ryan somehow got another year of eligibility.

                  • Shamet flying under the radar....

                    I like it.

McDuff and Shamet are going to make the Valley cry this year.

                        • I will be decently surprised if Klint Carlson isn't MVC First Team. I think preseason player of the year should be between him or McDuffie, depending on who you think will win the league.

I'd call KC a borderline second teamer with upside. Koch had more points/boards/blocks in fewer minutes.
