I am confident that the team will get it done. While we have no seniors contributing significant minutes on the court, I don't think I can think of better leaders to have that know the drill. We also have a lot of quality tourney experience in Shaq, Brown, Kelly, McDuffie and Frankamp, who carried KU when they lost to Stanford... Add Shamet, Willis, Smith, and Nurger. I am comfortable, but nervous. Just ready for the talk to stop and tip this ***** off!

As far as valuable leadership don't underestimate the value of our two seniors. Those contributions aren't obvious on the surface but their value will be infused throughout this team. Doesn't guarantee anything but no doubt their spirit will be a part of any success the Shocks have.

#7 Oakland slips by "surprised that their here #2 Clemson"

#6 Richmond wins #3 Alabama loses

#6 Boise not a State takes out #3 Utes

And we'll see if winning by 20 #8 CSU Bakersfield can hold on over #1 Cal with 15 to go in the game.

You must've missed tonights news alert. Last minute calibration by CBS (errrr I mean NCAA)... Cal vs. Syracuse in the round of 70 at the dome (of course). Winner goes to Phoenix to play Wichita St. in National Title Game (Shockers already favored by 11 according to Vegas).

The local sports radio station here in Houston was just discussing at length how absurd it is WSU is a 10 seed. The silver lining in all this is we are getting A LOT of respect and talk from most people around the country. Imagine where a deep run in the tourney this year could take this program... IMO we make a run this year and we are without a doubt considered as a legit powerhouse. Odds stacked against us. No more writing us off as only Fred and Ron. We make a deep run this year and the haters will have no way to write us off anymore.
