WSU went 27-6, had a kenPom of 11 and received a 5 seed the year before FVV and Baker played a game for WSU. Along with 2014, that 2012 squad had a legitimate shot at a F4 run. In fact, they were the hip pick that year. Funny that the squad between them got it done. WSU's 2013 F4 run had way less to do with a cinderella run, and way more to do with reaching the F4 at about a 25% clip with teams that had a shot at it. Which, nationally speaking, seems pretty reasonable. Overachieving a bit considering the seeding disadvantages, but still.
