Carleton is good competition. I believe they have knocked off some high-level NCAA teams in the past couple of years. From the article, they played Murray State, Baylor, and Texas Tech close last year.

Looks like a much better trip from a competitive standpoint than some of the international trips that provide very little in the way of competitive resistance. Win, lose or draw I am glad 3G deferred this trip to this year.

I hope the games will be viewable somehow but I won't hold my breath.

I guess they only beat Wisconsin, I was thinking they had a few more wins. They did play Syracuse and Cincy close.

Maybe someone could talk Marshall into strapping a GoPro to his forehead and we could stream the video? My guess is that's the only way we can view the games here in the states.

                Jans?

Maybe he can be in charge of collecting film for this trip and might as well live stream it too :)

Would not surprise me a bit if their is an NCAA prohibition against showing these games. I don't know that there is, just would not surprise me if there was.

I seem to recall espn broadcasting games from a Kentucky foreign trip not too long ago.

I don't think there is any ncaa prohibition since ESPN televised some of those ones last summer from Puerto Rico. I would think that would make a nice summer project for some of the WSU students working in that area. There might even be a way like with the old Shockervision to charge for viewing.

Were the KU WUGs not televised?

An irrelevant question, I suppose, as clearly the rules do not apply the same to everyone.

Hello everyone. My name is Doug and I am a Carleton Ravens season ticket holder. I am looking forward to watching your Shockers play Carleton when they visit Ottawa in August.

Carleton has won the last six Canadian university basketball championships (same type of championship as your Final Four) and 12 of the last 14 championships.

The Ravens traditionally play pre-season exhibition games against NCAA D1 teams both at home and away. Here is a summary of those games over the previous years:

If you have any questions about Carleton Ravens basketball, please ask.

I hope that some of you will be able to make the trip to Canada.

None of those losses are really bad losses, particularly those in the past couple of years. At least we'll have one very competitive game!

This should be a great trip for 3G and company to figure out who steps up to take the PG position and who becomes the de facto leader of the team. We've been spoiled with FVV these past three years as he was both. Not sure if that will work out with this iteration of Shocker Men's BB but I'm excited to see what this version looks and plays like.
