Carleton has won the last six Canadian university basketball championships (same type of championship as your Final Four) and 12 of the last 14 championships.
The Ravens traditionally play pre-season exhibition games against NCAA D1 teams both at home and away. Here is a summary of those games over the previous years:
If you have any questions about Carleton Ravens basketball, please ask.

Not saying the Shocks won't want to win the game but I think player evaluation and development will be the main focus of this trip for 3G with winning a nice bonus if it happens. That's just my guess.

Maybe he will put winning ahead of player and team development but my guess is he won't.

Hello again. There was a question about the other teams that the Shockers will play. You should have no problems against the other three teams, although McGill can play good defence and last year only lost to Harvard (at Harvard) by 3 points, one week before the start of the NCAA season.
There are some significant differences in how university basketball operates in Canada. First, players may play for five years (not four). Also, there are no "one and done" players (unless they flunk out of school). So, our players tend to be older and more experienced. Second, there are no practice limitations. Carleton won the championship this year in mid March and have been practicing every day since then. The Ravens will be going on a 4/5 game exhibition tour to Italy in June. So, they will be ready to play come August.
In fact, Ravens' fans consider that there are two basketball seasons - the NCAA exhibition season in August and then the regular season starting in November.
I anticipate that the game will be close and entertaining.

Canadian basketball has come a long way since the last trip, and Carleton should be good competition. They don't have a lot of size, so I would expect Willis and Shaq to kill it down low. But they appear to have a very experienced backcourt.“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”

I think the game against Carleton will be different than the other games in terms of rotations and development. Is throwing a freshman PG out there and having them go, oh I don't know...1/10 or 4/15 from the field in a loss really going to do much for his development and/or confidence?
