I too wish FVV and RB could be here for the event, but can't fault these guys for putting everything they've got into chasing their dreams. I hope that people still show up for the event. I wish I could. I think it's a pretty douche thing to not go just because those two guys aren't going to be there. (That is NOT directed at you M J.)

I don't blame Ron and Fred at all. That said, this has happened pretty frequently in recent years with some of the key seniors not being in attendance for this event. Can't WSU do a better job planning the date so that this doesn't happen?

Perry Ellis showed up to his last night at KU, so I don't see why our seniors always have this big a problem with showing up.

But WSU could move it up a week I suppose. But then that's pretty close to the National Championship game so when we win it it'd be a whirlwind for those guys for a week. ;)

Was about to say the same... Probably about half the turnout of the last couple years. I'm afraid Ron/Fred's absence has a lot to do with that, but that's no excuse in my book.

I love Wichita state, but to not have you're two icons of college basketball not there is really a shame... Why not just have if when they could attend it as well... It seems that their schedule in mind was not taken into consideration. It . Is not the same without them there. Period
