Question... a few people posted something to Markus facebook asking him to stay. Is there any chance he's going anywhere or are people just nuts?

I think the only way McDuffie, or anyone else, would leave would be if Marshall left.

Supposedly he said "something to someone" that if 3G left, he would leave too. One of the posts asking him to stay, his sister commented on it and said "He isn't leaving."

Yup. Somebody thinks they hear something from somebody who thinks they heard something from someone they really think they can trust and all hell and jackassery breaks out.

However this does reiterate what someone said, Dan I think, in the other thread. Rumors and "talking" can, and probably do, have somewhat of a detrimental affect on things.

You would think marshall would let his players know his intentions as to not have them too worried, they after all have the most invested in the program besides him. And also i think Markus may be a little bummed about Tyrone leaving, from what I see on snapchat those two are best of pals.

Who's to say Marshall hasn't let his players know his intentions? Maybe he just instructed them not to talk about it.

That could be true. Between what shaq posted the other day and now this, im trying not to read too much between the lines though because i dont want to assume anything

I'm sure this is a depressing time of the year anyways for all of them. They see the Final Four/NC game going on, wish they were there. They don't have practices and Games to look forward to. For athletes that have dedicated their lives to a game, they now have a bunch of free time to think. I know McDuffie is probably ready to visit home again too.

If I were Markis, I'd miss his parents too. They are friendly, engaging and wonderful people. I'm sure he's anxious to see them.

I heard from a manager that Marshall told the players and staff that "nothing was confirmed" and that "he had to do what was best for his family".

3.5 million a year is good enough for anybody and their family.granted he could make more somewhere else, but why mess with happy?
