Back when UNI was admitted, they really weren't. But Drake needed a travel partner, so they were kind of, sort of, allowed to be in the Valley for scheduling purposes, but not really in the league. Wichita State, Creighton, Southern Illinois, Illinois State and Bradley all voted against UNI. Without a majority, UNI began full round robin play as a Valley travel partner, but not a member. At the time, not everybody played baseball, so UNI was allowed to play in the postseason Valley baseball tournament, just to fill a slot. Then each sport kind of just worked into post season tourneys. Now, everyone just considers UNI a member when they really aren't.

Funny thing, baseball got UNI started playing in Valley post seasons, but they quit playing baseball years ago!

The time stamp of v2 is just 40 seconds after the original. I have a hard time believing UNI could be eliminated in 40 seconds. Too much would have to go wrong all at once.
