Know what happens when you cross a Brain Fart with a Senior Moment?

    You just saw it! :stung:

I burned so long about him not getting in, it still sticks in brain.

Warren was a PG/SG for much of his career in the ABA.

He was the modern day prototypical guard see you in the NBA that did it all in facilitating the offense, scoring, passing, etc.

At WSU, he played where ever necessary.

Your comment is nonsense. Those three players individual accomplishment's speak for themselves. They were all upper 1st round draft picks. They clearly separated themselves from other great players in our program.

Cliff is the only player not to make a consensus team, putting him on par with Baker for awards. Fred and Cle should absolutely be retired. I believe Ron should as well. Paul would be next closest, lowering the bar fairly significantly. Cotton and Armstrong were not on any AA list of any kind.
How is Paul lowering the bar fairly significantly? He was Honorable Mention AA just like Baker.

It is also interesting to compare the career stats of Jason Perez and Ron Baker. Very similar, with Perez getting the edge.

Perez has higher FG%, 3pt FG%, more steals, and more rebounds. Baker has higher 2pt FG%, free throw %, and more blocks.

Both great players. Both Hall of Famers.

          1. NBA projectability should have nothing to do with evaluating a players college performance.
          2. Winning matters.

It certainly is an indication of their college performance however.

No, it is not. It is an indication of risk/reward assessments of billion dollar franchises.

This makes me think if Ben Simmons goes number 1, his number should be in the rafters at LSU. Really?

Why does it feel like the past couple of years SN has acquired a whole new class of new posters who sound like P5 bandies that fell off some other wagon and somehow ended up on ours?

Bound to happen when you become the best team in the state for 3 straight years. So it goes, all aboard.

Disagree on 1 being an indication of their college performance. The NBA considers "potential" much more than actual results.

Winning has to do with a lot of factors outside the control or performance of the player (team, schedule, injuries to self or others, etc.)

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

I agree. But at the end of the day, it is also the whole point of the game. I'll take Ron Baker's 13ppg over DJ Balentine's 22ppg all day, every day, if I'm trying to win a game.

If you are referring to me, my family has had season tickets since the late 1950's. I have personally had them since the late 1970's including the 1990"s. Is that enough pedigree for your standards???

You don't think Jason Perez would have won big if he had been on the teams that Baker was on?

And rightfully so... He deserved to get in and was happy when he was finally recognized.
