Ron getting a surprising amount of love from Dougie.

Fred not playing seems to add to my belief that he hasn't been right for a bit. Sad for him because when he was 100% we were such a better team. I hope he heals in time to impress the pros!

I don't think he's ever bad mouthed Ron it's always just been Fred.

Maybe his defense was a joke?

Are all-star games a pass to not playing defense?

In the tournament, he was a scorer. That's it. And his selfishness actually costed them in the Notre Dame game at the end.

But ok, thanks for taking the WSU counterargument once again.

            ... No really, deuces.

Surprisingly however it was Gottlieb that pointed out during this week pro scouts have been pleasantly surprised by Fred's quickness and his ability to create separation, and Doug noted that this had always been the major concern about Fred at the next level. That was the most upbeat analysis of FVV (by far) that DG has ever given. I have to think that hearing the pro scouts talk about Fred gave him a new perspective.

Dougie just eating alittle crow. He has no choice but to except the enevitable when the experts and coaches heap praise on not just Ron but Fred too. He'd look like more of an idiot than he already is if he didn't.

Excuse me. I listen to his show and read his tweets and I must have missed it. You think?

Probably off-topic, but not sure where else to put it: Does anyone know where Fred ranks (NCAA D1) in career Assist/Turnover ratio? I think he's at 3.08, which ought to be right up there.

He said it during the Senior All-star game where he was one of the analysts.
