    I just had this thought.

Think about what it took to beat these guys in the tournament.
2013-Louisville #1 team in the country and eventual national champ needs a big game from bench player Luke Hancock and quick whistle on a jump ball to win.

2014-Kentucky eventual national runner up, team full of lottery picks has to play the best game they ever played (I watched most of them, it wasn't close) to win by one possession.

2015-Notre Dame shoots better than the Warriors do in warmup and we still make it a game in the 2nd half

2016-Miami goes up 27-6, and still needs a career high from Angel Rodriguez to stave off the comeback.

Even their losses were some of the best tourney games in the last 4 years.

Very possible they end up with a 9-3 tourney record (.750).

We lost to damn good teams, that played their best ball to beat us... That's respect and shows Marshall belongs on top of the coaching world..Bias aside, he would make a huge mistake in taking another rebuilding job, the Miami coach left cuz George Mason didn't pony up, Shaka Smart is still up in the air as far as it being a good move, VCU went farther then Texas

          Thanks just aren't enough.

I'd like to add one thing. In the post game press conference, Ron referred to "disappointment"....saying he disappointed family, teammates etc. Fred said something along the same lines...disappointment.

Those two young men accomplished an awful lot while they were at WSU. The LAST thing they did was EVER disappoint ANYONE, least of all their family, friends, teammates and coaches.

That's the only thing I can take issue with either of these 2 incredible student athletes.

I pretty much SHOUTED as much to my monitor as I was watching that. Neither young man should hang their head and think they disappointed Shocker Nation. What a wonderful ride they took us on. I was too young to remember the Dave Stallworth era of Shocker basketball but was attending WSU during the Carr/Levingston/Dreiling/McDaniel/Sherrod era and when Smithson departed, thought I'd never see another great run of Shocker hoops magic. Boy was I wrong. This has been the best era to date and will be so tough to beat anytime soon.

The only thing they did to disappoint me was not find a loophole to play a fifth year!!!! If any players could have done it, it would have been those two!!!

I have never met Fred or Ron, but I love them like family. More than some in-laws, in fact.

                      I have.

You would love them even more than you do right now, if you are ever lucky enough to met them as well.

Maybe he is one of the consultants WSU has been meeting with along with conference realignment deal.

A fifth year of Fred and Ron would be a good selling point!
