SFA played extremely well with Walkup on the bench. When he came back in and they immediately went into run clock and take one contested shot, they cost themselves the game. Tough loss, and the better team went home, but it was handled not to lose rather than to win at the end.

lol oklahoma is abusing the VCU players under the basket and nothing is getting called. Cox on VCU just smashed a block back and got called for a foul.

Also what a JOKE in OKC. Oklahoma is playing in OKC and it looks like half the arena seats are empty.

We're co-hosting Wichita in 2018 so we won't even get the chance then.

How so? Even if this could happen (and as long as WSU hosts an NCAA site at IBA, it can't), the NCAA sites are set up a couple years in advance. Having that Kentucky game take place in Wichita wasn't an option.

I think he's just pointing out the insane advantage that teams like Oklahoma and UNC get.

Walkup is a hell of a player for SFA and he was keeping them in it. Their little guard Floyd was really feeling it. I personally would have let Floyd be the offense towards the end. Walkup goes out-of-control too much and it was evident at the end of the game.

The key possession IMO is when SFA was up 5 with a minute or two left. The ball got stripped and was loose. Walkup tried to run with it and dribble the ball up the court instead of just grabbing ahold of the ball and wait for the traffic to pass. He tried too much and instead the ball got taken right back from him and Notre Dame was able to get a score. That was huge. His 1-on-1 move at the end where he through up a wild shot that had no chance was the nail in the coffin. He got a little too hero at the end.

Sucks, cuz I really was hoping SFA would move on.

This tournament is getting more disappointing by the game. Yesterday was awful with only Gonzaga winning and today SFA loses a game they should have won and now VCU makes a huge comeback only to look like they will lose. Can we get a Cinderella to root for ? Middle Tennessee ? Hawaii ? Northern Iowa ? The only I have left going for me is rooting for those teams and X.

It's interesting that VCU is always in the same conversation as Butler, Gonzaga, and Wichita State but they haven't made a 2nd weekend since their F4 run in 2011 and haven't won a conference championships since 2009.
