So true. They're only used to "good losses." This whole theory of a bad loss (loser go home) doesn't make sense to them. Go Peay!!!

You are a lot more pleasant to read when you are not talking about us.

Now, you are right. That was a killer that changed the momentum at the end of the half. Terrible defense

I don't think seeding should be delegated to any one analytical or advanced metric system. They should keep track of the accuracy of the systems over a 5 to 10 year rolling period. Take the top 10 most accurate ranking systems as of the end of the previous year and use a consensus of those systems to rank the teams the following year. The NCAA could even agree to pay a stipend to the top 10 systems used each year (on a sliding scale perhaps to reward accuracy) to give these systems an incentive to be as accurate as possible and to continue tweaking there systems to stay accurate.

However, they should have minimum accuracy required. Take whatever number (not to exceed) 10 9or 5 or whatever is deemed appropriate if 10 is to many) that meet the minimum accuracy requirement.

When I watch teams from conferences that are only guaranteed one team to the NCAA Tourney ... they each try to play better throughout the season with an eye to winning their conference tournament. That is their only hope, so you see the MVC tournament with bad to good teams really leaving it out on the floor.

The 10 teams from the big(12-2) 'know' that the top 7 teams are going. So what reason is there for them to get better? They can play crappy from game to game and still get in. Their tournament means nothing. Not a good mindset to be in.

I'm working on a scatterplot of KenPom/RPI ranks vs games won in the NCAA Tourney. Gonna take some time, but once I get 5-10 years of data organized, that's hundreds of NCAA games, and should give a good feel for the accuracy of the 2 rankings.

Pretty crazy looking at the Colorado bench. It's like the Shocker's bench from 11 year's ago without Turg.
If you're not going to go all the way, why go?

Why is Iona playing zone and leaving guys wide open in the corner? Not smart.

Can't really speak for @SHURTZtheHERTZ: but you need to pick at least one 12 seed in one of your brackets don't you?
