That's what I'm sayin. We don't have to worry about their bigs if we just take the ball from their guards.

mm hmm.. just as i thought. i'm slow burnin' now.
Vandy said the same thing. We held them to 50. There is no doubt our defense is one of the best in the country.

                  • It would be nice if whomever is in charge of inputting the stats on GoShockers.com could keep the cumulative season statistics updated at this time of year. It took them over a week to plug in a missing game from the end of the regular season, and they still haven't added the Vanderbilt results.

Not a huge deal, I know...but more people have probably looked at our team's stats on there in the last 3 days than the rest of the last 11 months combined. Let's get our **** together, AD.

                    • We also had some success on defense outside of the conference especially once Fred got healthy.

                      UNLV 50
                      Utah 50
Nevada 68 (In a high possession game where the Shocks scored 98)
                      New Mexico State 41

Not all that different than what the Shocks did in the Valley.

We'll see if it works again. This year is the first I've really noticed the delays.

                        • Remember how nobody in the MVC could score more than 65 on us?

Well in grinders -- games where Arizona scores 65 or less -- they are: 2-2 (win 50% of their games)
In games where Arizona scores 68 or less, however, they are: 4-2 (win 66% of their games)

On the flip side, when we hold an opponent to 65 or less, we are: 24-4 (win 85.7% of their games)

Let's hold these suckas to 65.
